Cuarto 2 (1st floor): A queen bed on the first floor, with a dresser, mirror, and bedside tables to properly unpack. You share a full bathroom with your floor, and everything else on the hill is yours too: the salt water pool, the outdoor kitchen with its wood-fired pizza oven, both open-air yoga decks, and a sunset the whole village stops for.

This is the traveler's find on this coast: a room price with a whole-property life. Swim before breakfast, cook in the outdoor kitchen with whoever else is up, and let the dogs adopt you; they always do. Tomasa and Juan, who care for the hill, help carry bags down and spoil guests with star fruit when the trees are giving. Here you're family from the moment you walk down, and guests keep extending their stays; the hill does that.

Getting down here is part of the arrival. Standard car? Park up top on the main road and take the one minute walk down; our returning guests swear the hill is what keeps them young. Driving a 4x4 with good tires and a little nerve? Come all the way down and park at the buildings.
