Cerrito Encantado Property Layout

Cerrito Encantado is down hill from the main road in Altavista, Nayarit, Mexico. The entrance is a little hidden, but we will be there to guide you when you arrive. We highly recommend that only high clearance vehicles or vehicles with 4x4 or AWD and that have good tread on their tires park on the property. Otherwise, we can assist you with bringing your belongings down. 

Once you arrive on the property, you will notice that this is a multi-level property with stairs and hills. We recommend that all guests feel comfortable walking up and down the steep rock road entrance, walking up and down stairs, as well as hills that don't have any rails. 

Lower level

You will arrive on the lower level and immediately see a casita, carport, and gated garage. If you walk towards the left of the casita, it will take you to La Casa Redonda. If you continue taking the walkway to the right of La Casa Redonda, you will walk through to the front of the property and find La Casa Chilam. 

Pool Level

In between the La Casa Redonda and La Casa Chilam you will find a stairwell to the salt water Pool. This is in between the lower level and upper level of the property. 

Upper Level

You can reach the upper level in one of three ways: the same stairwell that reaches the pool level, the stairwell halfway between the Gazebo (near the garage) and La Casa Redonda, and the sloped walkway at the front entrance of the property. Towards the top, you will find the outdoor bathrooms to your right, Los Cuartos to your left, the outdoor kitchen and dining area, plus a fountain, yard, and yoga room.
